Ms. Amy Pino

Ms. Amy Pino graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. Having always intended to pursue Law, Amy did not discover her passion for teaching until she began homeschooling her own children in 2013.  Her desire to see her children love learning and to know how to learn led her to classical education and she homeschooled her children for nine years in that tradition.

The Lord opened up many other opportunities over the years and Amy has now been privileged to teach in four other classical schools across the country. She has taught K, 1st, 3rd, and 4th-8th grade Math. Amy currently holds certifications in DIBELS, Singapore Math, Spalding Phonics and an ESL certification. 

Having lived in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, Amy loves all things hiking, National Parks, all the coffee, cooking, museums, concerts, used book stores, shopping with her teenage daughters, playing soccer with her boys and a really good rainy day curled up with a good book.
