Parents’ League
At Hunter all families serve the school together as members of Parents’ League. The purpose of the Parents’ League is to promote the welfare of our children, their families, and the school. It strives to ensure that the school and the parents are in close relationship and mutually supportive of one another by assisting the school with communication and special events.
Parents’ League Activities
Coordinating and/or hosting parent gatherings
Faculty appreciation efforts
Coordinating and volunteering at special events (Open Houses, Harvest Helpers, Lessons & Carols, Blues & Greens Gala, etc.)
Volunteering for hot lunch distribution
Support and welcome new students and families as they transition into our community
General support of the efforts of the faculty and teachers in nurturing and educating our children in a healthy and safe environment
Parent involvement is an integral and special part of Hunter’s success. Classical education highlights the participation of families together for the growth and development of the child. Parents’ League certainly plays a role in these efforts.
