Chrissy Walters is beginning her fifth year at Hunter and her second year as Operations Manager.
She earned her Associate's in Business Administration, with an emphasis in medical office management, from Cabot Colleges in National City, California. Her career began at Fox Television, where she managed office operations for a station running on daily broadcast deadlines, coordinating scheduling and administrative support for a full newsroom. After relocating to Richmond, she spent nearly six years at Right Management as Client Services Administrator and Training Manager. She ran the office's financial operations, served as the sales contact for corporate accounts, and taught executive leadership, business communications, career development, research methodology, and introductory computing classes. From 2005 to 2013, she managed daily operations for Path Financial Strategies (formerly The Fritter Group) as a Licensed Servicing Assistant, handling client scheduling, commission tracking, marketing materials, and compliance for confidential client records.
Chrissy joined Hunter's staff in the 2022-2023 school year teaching Art. She then moved into marketing and logistics administration, launching the Compass newsletter, directing the Yearbook program, and managing vendor relationships for the hot lunch program. As Operations Manager, she now oversees school merchandise from design through ordering and sales, handles procurement for the school, and serves as the primary liaison to building and facilities management. She directs the Yearbook and the Hunter's Horn, the school's annual student art publication, and continues to run the hot lunch program. Her responsibilities also include security and disaster response planning, curriculum support, and school event logistics. She chairs the Hunters Helping Hands community outreach committee and co-chairs Daughters of the King, a girls' enrichment club focused on leadership, Christian values, and creative expression.
Chrissy and her husband Grayson, of more than 30 years, have one teenage son.
